Find, buy, sell, repeat
. At it’s core, retail in any form is shockingly simple. Find an item people want, buy it at a good price, sell that same item for more than you paid, then take the profit and keep doing it over and over again until you own an Alpaca ranch on the coast of Maine and your mornings are filled with lobster omelettes and blueberry coffee (yes, those are both things). After all, how difficult can it be to find a steady supply of profitable items to sell online?
Well, turns out it is actually tougher than a microwaved pot-roast! In our own journey, we began buying resale items in stores, or even wholesale and selling those items mostly on Amazon. Thing is, we lived in constant fear of brand restrictions (even mention the word Nike around here and you might get a tape gun thrown at you), authenticity claims, IP letters, or even the most common problems we faced…finding a great item only to have our source dry up, or even better watching all the other sellers lose their minds and sell a $60 item for 13 cents and kill everyone's profit!
